Hello lovelies. Sooooooo after lots of pain and lots of communication between my two different hosts, I finally got my domain set up… a month after purchasing it… But despite the frustration that went into the set up, the site is finally up and functioning. I figured I wouldn’t even try to transfer everything over from the one site to this one. WordPress can be confusing enough as it is.
SO, here is my blank slate. Please change your links! My URL is now http://bluejune.net. I don’t have any pages set up except my credits and affiliates page, since I figured they were probably the most important. Therefore, I don’t have any navigation links for you to browse through, but if you’re bothered that you can’t refresh to the home page, that is, if you’re looking at one of the only two pages I have set up so far (hehe), there is a button at the top right corner for ya!
~~~ And yes, I am looking for new friends since a lot of my old pals are inactive or their websites are completely obsolete — sad, but true. ~~~
I don’t really know for sure why I decided to buy a domain since I hardly update anyway, but since my website is something I often go to when I have nothing else I figured it’d be an okay investment, and it wasn’t expensive. Additionally, I no longer have those annoying stinkin’ ads that would always pop up, which is a plus!
As far as school, I am stressed, stressed, stressed, and oh did I mention? Stressed. I am taking a bunch of psychology courses because I’m very interested in behavioral analysis and may want to work in that field as a possible FBI agent, or something of the sort — but that’s super far away and just saying that makes me uncomfortable. With that said, I’m also taking computer science classes, one about coding Java programs, and the other, a discrete math class. I don’t mind either of the courses, except I despise the computer science professor… he’s a stickler and an ass. Discrete math on the other hand is probably one of the more tougher of the classes I have taken, so I’m just praying that I’ll somehow figure out a way to understand the concepts and pass the class. I’m starting to rethink my options since I don’t really like programming much and taking these two classes just feels a little like a waste of my time and money right now, and I’m pretty sure it’s too late to drop the classes.
Anyway, it’s a Friday night, I’m a college student, and I spent the last 4 hours coding this layout. I promise I have a life and I swear I’m not going to go read my textbook because I have 2 exams next week…:)
I admit, I wish I had more of a typical college experience, you know, like the ones in the movies? Make your lifelong friends, go to big parties every weekend… But I’ve decided and accepted that college really isn’t for me, and so I should just focus on my personal health and studies instead.
I hope you are all doing well, and I look forward to hearing from, well, anyone!!!
I will try to keep up with all who are still active.
Actually, I’ll take this down time to reply to some of you.
